In the download, you’ll find both a .pptx file (for PowerPoint 2007 and later) and a .ppt file (for PowerPoint 2003). Each contains seven sample layouts.
Thanks Jeanette. It is probably an OHS matter (operator head space) due to my ignorance, but when I download the template and run a preview in both PowerPoint and Articulate, I just get the seven slides which play one after another. How would get that same effect the sample had?
@Wilson: Yeah, the downloadable template is just the PowerPoint file with no content in it... on the published sample, I added some fake content and also made some tweaks via the Articulate menu. (For example, I added a playlist, changed the Slide Properties so that each slide's advance behavior is By User, and I changed the view mode of the course to Slide Only. I also used a different color scheme for the player.) You're welcome to take a look at the source files I used in creating the published sample! I uploaded them for you right here: articulate-downloads.s3.amazonaws.com/.../BlackAndGray-withContent_package.zip The zip file includes the PPTX and the PPTA. Thanks Jeanette, very impressive template! I downloaded the pptx and ppta files above but i'm still unsure how you managed to make the section names on the first slide into links to the various slides? Similarly for the menu button on the bottom right.

Hi Osman! Those are done with PowerPoint hyperlinks. The hyperlinks get preserved in the published output when you publish with Articulate Presenter. Here's a tutorial that shows more info: community.articulate.com/.../adding-on-slide-hyperlinks-to-give-learners-more-navigation-options.aspx
Thank you so much for that link to the published sample! I will try to deconstruct it so that I can learn ow to recreate such effects myself. I'm quite new to e-Learning and I must pretty much teach myself how to create such interactions. having a resource like this blog is a blessing!
