If you like, you can use Quizmaker to create flashcards. Because Quizmaker includes more options, you can really customize the look and feel as well as flow of the interaction.
Thanks for the demo. So, you create the quuestion in one step and the answer in the next. Correct?
I am developing a module that includes a "mock" interview and I thought that the flashcards would do the trick. I did find the quizmaker flashcard template and downloaed it. I definietly would like to use it in another module.
okay-I figured the cards out except for the repeated question on the flip side. There are times that it gets cut off (when it appears above the answer) is there a way to modify that?
Hi Tina - Can you say a little more about what you mean by "repeated question"?
The quiz template contains 6 question groups, each with a question type and blank slide for feedback. There are lots of options for customizing the format, but I'd like to know a little more about what you're trying to do.
On my flascard there is the question -and when the user "flips" it over it repeats the question at the top along with the answer below. The problem is that when flipped over the question is being cut off - so you are not seeing the entire question again.
Is there a way to just not display the question again?
Sorry, but there's no way that I'm aware of to disable the question from showing on the backside of the flashcard. I'm curious to know what font you're using for the question though. Some fonts have a bad habit of being cutoff, but only on low-hanging letters like a lowercase "j" or "q". Do you think you'd be able to send us your .INTR file so we can take a look at what you're seeing?
The Flashcards interaction was one of the community interactions for Engage '09. If you have E09, then you can load the interaction package I attached. The community interactions won't work in Engage '13.
Hey Damien - This thread is a bit dated, but I wasn't sure if you had checked out Rise yet? We have an easy to use flashcard interaction there. Check out this post/link.
I'm working on some flashcards for a project and I showed the stakeholder the flashcards in Rise and they were looking for something that could be larger in size. Is there a template for 360 available or a way to have more control over the settings in Rise?
Although the flashcards in Rise are a fixed size, have you considered using a Storyline Block instead?
Building the interaction in Storyline gives you the freedom to customize the size and layout any way you'd like! Once the interaction is ready, publish it to Articulate 360. From there, insert the Storyline interaction into Rise in just a few simple steps. Watch this video to find out how easy it is!

Hi Tina! Welcome to E-learning Heroes
Here's a quick demo of the Flashcards interaction.
Is there something specific you're looking to create with the flashcards?

Here's a demo and source file template you can use to get started. We also have a Screenr tutorial on using the template.

Can you post a sample to the forums?
I'm having this same issue.

I was using Arial for this- I read somewhere else to change it to Arial Narrow so that's what I did That helped!
Thanks

Hi Tim! I reached out to David in case he is no longer subscribed to this thread and I'm sure he will pop in with an update :)

Thanks David for popping in to share.
Tim,
To successfully import Articulate Engage interactions into Articulate Storyline, Engage must be installed and activated on your computer.

Great idea. I will try that. Thank you.
