Importing Avatar

I'm in the middle of a project that consists of several modules. The ones completed so far were developed in Studio '09. The client wants all of the modules to be available for viewing on iPads. We plan to import the existing modules into Storyline and develop the remaining modules in Storyline. The existing modules use the client's custom illustrated avatar. Will I be able to import that avatar into Storyline to use in the development of the new modules?

Hi Gina:
David's post here will probably answer your question about using custom avatars.

Hi Tracy,
Thanks, that tutorial did help with information about using custom avatars. However, he was using an avatar already in Storyline. I want to know if I can import an avatar from outside Storyline into SL and use it.
Are you talking about a static graphic or an animated avatar? Either way you should not have any difficult inserting as a picture or a video. If it is a video avatar that has alpha channel, you may find it challenging to view on the mobile devices - best option for mobile will be the Articulate Mobile Player for Ipad.
Ron,
It's a static graphic, and I think you're right about inserting it as a picture being the solution. And thanks for the information about the video avatar--I'll file that for future reference.
Thanks again, Tracy and Ron.
On the opposite side of the coin, can someone tell me the folder name where the avatars are housed? I've tried searching and I seem to be going in circles. I'd like to be able to export them as a group.
Thanks
Hi Kelly,
This information should help answer your question about our characters.
Hi Gina,
This could be an avatar option for you.
