Not sure if Articulate has published a user manual but there is a very good manual available commercially that was written by a number of Storyline users. (I was not involved in this and am just passing along the info).
Thankyou for your suggestions. Carla, the online tutorials look very helpful, but I'm looking for a hard copy manual. I look forward to the free pdf version once it's released.
Storyline for Starters is definitely the way to go. I purchased it two days ago and I received a link to download a digital copy of the first two chapters. Money well spent!
Is there also an official manual in german language?
I'm looking for a manual and I would prefer to have it in my mother tongue. That simplifies the understanding. I only saw http://storyline-experte.de/content/deutschsprachiges-handbuch-zu-articulate-storyline but this is not official. I think a lot of german users would appreciate an official german manual with instructions and how-to-do in german language.
I know there's been talk of some German and French communities for Articulate, but I'm not sure if those are set to launch in the near future. I'd imagine that if those are released, they'll also have some German and French documentation.
Would certainly love to see something like this :)

You can check it out at http://www.gostoryline.com/index.html
Book resource: E-Learning Uncovered: Articulate Storyline, Diane Elkins (Author), Desiree Pinder (Author)
Articulate has posted their Storyline manual online in their tutorials section: Articulate Storyline
Sounds like they update their tutorials frequently and will publish a free pdf version once everything is documented: http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/13330/78888.aspx#78888

Are there any plans so far?
