Hi Ted, you can't resize the marker but there are a few tricks you can do to make it appear larger. One is to put a circle shape underneath the marker that is slightly larger than the marker itself.
I don't believe currently the markers can be resized. In fact, if you right-click on a marker and choose Size and Position from the shortcut menu, you'll see that the size options are "dimmed" (that is, unavailable).
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you here, but the markers can't be resized. They are at a set size, although I have seen folks make them a tad large by changing the weight associated with the marker outline.

What I was wondering about is can the Marker itself (the circle with the icon in it) be resized
not the label.

was wondering this same thing for markers in sl360 - the user guide describes everything EXCEPT this. lol
