I have my own navigation buttons and I'm using the drag and drop free form at the end of a scene. I don't want to the user to advance until the drag and drop is correct without using the built in player. Can someone help me?
Here's my file-I had to delete the proprietary content. The first slide is the one with the player submit button, the second one is what I need help with! I want to make this as easy as possible.
OK, Nick, I need help... Can someone help me create an example of variables and triggers that will do the following:
Mark a topic "Complete" by displaying a green check mark next to the topic name once someone gets through the topic. This is denoted by someone visiting the last slide in the topic.
The topic variable changing to complete when someone visits the last slide of the topic.
Once all the topics are complete, display a slide that has a course completion message and an exit button that tells the LMS system to mark the course complete.
I have been trying to do this for days, and I simply can't wrap my brain around it. I am attaching my project, and ANY help would be really appreciated...

Hi Katie
you need to add a trigger to the submit button to change its state after drag and drop is completed.
I could help more if you provided a .story file.

Nick-great idea! So how would it work with the variable count if the user misplaces each drag item but still reaches the variable 4?
Because it's showing the next button once the 3rd item is placed.
Okay so how would I do that? I've added my slide to your example. Thanks for your help by the way!
Wow Nick thank you so much! You're a life saver!!! I owe you one.
One last question (I think)-would this work the same way with my posttest? Set the number variable to 1 and the next button will appear?
Hi Katie
I guess I got back too late, but @Nick was a great help (as always )
Can you have a posttest without the built-in player? How would this even work?
