Flat template display base layer and additional layer?

If you could let us know which template you downloaded, or you could attach it here for us to review.

I tested a few of the flat templates from our site, and did not see this issue occurring.

Please make sure you are following the steps here for creating and editing your projects.

Yes it is the Flat Office template. I am able to browse and select the item to upload, but it's not doing anything once I click upload? Is anyone else having difficulty? Is there another way to send it? Thanks

when you say in preview it only shows the layer which layer is it showing

Hi,

So I'm using the Flat design by Mike Taylor. It shows the base layer initially, and then when the user clicks the tabs, only the layer shows. But initially the base layer and all 5 layers displayed when tabs were clicked in preview.

I am able to upload images, but not the project. First image is base, second is layer. I want the two to display together. The eyes are all open on base layer and as mentioned it was initially working...

I thought you said the Flat office template above...ok..so here is the Flat design template from Mike. See if your timeline and layer properties are set up as per below images. I can't tell from your screenshots above and it's hard without seeing the .story file.

Thanks Wendy. That is how I have it set up - in Storyline 2. Is there a reason why the upload isn't working today? I would really like to send this on for you to see! Taking up too much of your time guessing what the problem is....Cheers, Shawna

not sure how you have created the layers.

I was on the main slide with the tabs and created a layer called Definition - Wendy. I then copied the contents from your layer Definition onto that slide. See if that is what you are after. There is a lot of animation happening on a tab click - not sure if all those triggers are needed - but lets see if we are getting closer to what you need - I don't have time at the moment to go through the whole thing...but I can probably help you later tonight if you need it (I am on Australian time) - let me know.

I will PM you with my skype details if you want to hook up that way and ask quick questions.

Thanks Wendy - When I created the layers I just omitted the information from the original template and replaced with my content. It was working and now its not.Think I might just try to re-do later today/tomorrow. Thank you so much for your time and I will let you know how I get on

So I just re-started my computer after lunch and tried the preview again and it is working fine. So who knows why it didn't want to work before as I have not changed anything! Thanks again Wendy.
