Thanks, it probably is not a hyperlink.  I can put the definitions into slides in the powerpoint.  I just need to them be able to click on a word, go to another slide with the definitions then returen to the original slide.

Have you considered creating links within the powerpoint to a definitions slide?

So, click word->navigate to slide with definition for the word->click area to return from where you came?

I think this is exactly what I am needing to do.

When you say "click word" do you mean highlight then am I able to link to another slide?

I have never used this feature but think it will be very beneficial.

This may work as well.

I was not sure with branching if I could do multiple branches on one page.... ie.have multiple terms on one page but link each term to a different slide with definition.
