I am working on a Storyline project and I want to export the score from the result slide to some external program (word doc / email ). The result is stored in a variable and this variable needs to be exported to the external program.
Does Storyline offer the functionality to directly send the variables to word doc (or some other program)?
If not, is there any other program to which the variables / score can be passed from Storyline without using Javascript?
I've seen a few different examples of this, but the majority of them involve some Javascript. I'll defer to the community on other thoughts or ideas, or if they can assist you with the Javascript.
Does Articulate online offer this functionality? What exactly does the articulate online reports consists of? Can a variable value be passed to the report??
Is there some widget available that records user answers / variables from storyline?
You'll need to use JavaScript to get values out of Storyline within the browser. No other way to do that unless you do it manually by watching the screen and writing down the values
I've used Google Spreadsheets to capture all kinds of stuff from Storyline. There are a few ways to do this. I like to use silent methods that run in the background. There are a few threads that discuss different ways of accomplishing this.

Thank you Ashley.

Hi Dipti,
There is this method that you could use to pass a variable to an LMS, and you'd still have to use the same method in Articulate Online. A list of Articulate online reports are available here.
Hope those help!
Thanks Ashley.
Has anybody used some widget to records user answers / variables from storyline and export it to pdf or similar application??
