Customizing Outline prior to Publishing

New To Articulate:
The tutorial provided shows a cutomized PowerPoint Outline (Welcome Page and so on) that appears independant from the content contained on the corresponding slide.
When I attempt this, the text in the outline also appears in the slide. Both sets of texts appear to be connected and are not indepedant from each other.
Is there a way to set up the Slide Titles in the Outline so that the title only appears in the Outline and does not also appear in the slide itself?
Note: It looks like this can be customized after it has been published - Can it be done before?
Thanks for your help

Hi Tim and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Yes, there is a way, and I'm assuming you saw something similar to this tutorial? This is geared towards Presenter '09, but has a good explanation for how and why this works.
If you happen to have Presenter '13, be sure to follow these directions.
Thank You - That was most helpful
Thanks for popping back in with an update Tim, glad to help!
