I'm afraid with that description, it's a little difficult to know what's happening.
First, are they actually receiving this error on the Results slide, or a question slide? If this is happening on a results slide, it doesn't quite sound right.
Are you able to share more detail, or share your .STORY file here, so we can take a look?
I figured it out... My results slide had a submit button which was assigned to submit interaction when the user clicked submit. Since there was no question on the slide that was why I was getting the error message. I reassigned the submit button to "exit course" and this fixed the problem.
