In SCORM Cloud the problem doesn't appear. But in two completely different LMS it does, that sounds to me that there is something in the handling in Storyline that produces problems like this in some LMS.
If anyone has the same problem, please let us know.
Thanks for the update. If the content plays fine in the SCORM Cloud, I would definitely suggest to troubleshoot further with the LMS, or possibly within their IT team.
the tested LMS are completely different, so think it is caused of something in storyline. I think it is because of the slide loading in HTML5. We now remove all slide transitions. Now it looks much better for the learner. He only has to wait about 2 to 4 secounds till the next page is loaded. That is sustainable. But still, the loeading behavior in storyline 2 is not as good as in storyline.
I am having the same problem, only with Articulate Presenter content on an iPad. It's agonizingly slow. Almost unusable. It's fine in a web browser. I'll try it in SCORMCloud
Testing in the SCORM Cloud will be able to tell you if it is an issue with you specific LMS. You can check out the link about for troubleshooting within your LMS.

Hello Evelyn!
You may want to test this at the SCORM Cloud, the industry standard for testing, to see if you get the same results.
You can also look at the information here about troubleshooting your LMS.

Could we expect optimations in the next update?
