I can't seem to select multiple objects in the Timeline like I could in SL1. Having selected one object, holding down either the SHIFT key or the CONTROL key and selecting another object makes my first object unselected.
I am working locally on a PC. My colleague at work has the same problem on his PC,as do I at home on my home PC. I ran the repair SL2 procedure as administrator but it didn't come up with any option except to Uninstall.
So I uninstalled it, got a fresh copy from the website, re-installed it and it worked ! Our original installs were all done from the same downloaded file which, it would appear, was a bit dodgy. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Kim
I have tested and I can use both CTRL and SHIFT to select multiple objects in the timeline.
Are you working locallynot from a network or usb drive?
Here is a link to repair SL2
Hope that helps
Hi Kim,
I tested the same behavior in SL2 and I could select them in the timeline or on the slide itself - so everything seems to be working normally there.
Please let us know if you're able to go through the repair steps and also confirm you're working locally.

Thanks Kim for the update and I'm happy to hear things are back to normal for you.
I'm having the same issue... Uninstalling and reinstalling won't mess up my project, right?
Hi Jazzmine! Not if you've saved it. You should be fine.
Just kidding. You have to click on the object in the timeline, not to the left where the only action possible is to change the object's name.
Haha! Well, you're learning. Glad you figured that our prior to a repair or re-install :)
