Hi Samantha,
I had the same problem and solved it by downloading the file with Google Chrome and not Internet Explorer. I have no idea what made the difference but I got the "story" file in Chrome
This works great for me! I have tried to setup a project like this with NO BORDERS where the slide content occupies the full screen. It appears that your player does not have any controls/displays at the top or bottom of the slide. How did you set up your player with no borders?
Hi Victor! Thanks for the great feedback.
To customize the player, I removed all the menu items, slide titles, and UI buttons. Here's a tutorial on how that works: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-2/articles/customizing-the-player
Once you strip everything out, it's a good idea to save your player so you can easily access it in the future.
You can also download some pre-built players: https://community.articulate.com/download/10-pack-of-seamless-storyline-player-skins It looks like those may still have the background but it's a good start to removing everything.
Let me know if you have any further questions!
Thanks for the quick reply. I can get rid of ever thing except the default NEXT and PREV buttons. How do you delete them from the player? Best Regards,
Victor E. Madison SR
Hi Victor! I forgot to include something around slide properties.
You can disable the navigation buttons by clicking the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the Slide Layers panel. Here's an article with all the info: https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/adjusting-slide-properties (scroll down to the section titled "Choosing Navigation Controls".
Hi Linda,
Click the object on which you want to modify the text and click on the States tab. From there, you can Edit the text.
Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hello! Thanks for the template; I love it. I've tried to update the text on the tape as you described, but I'm not seeing how it's possible in the States settings - these post-its appear to be images, not editable objects. Is there something I'm missing?
I like this a lot but I am finding the response to close the Post-it is really dragging. I click.... wait wait ....and then it flips back. is there a way to speed up that interaction? Also wasn't sure about having all three across on a mobile device. Tricks around that?
Hi Amelia - You can control the closing speed by reducing the duration of the slide layer timelines. They're currently set to 1 second. Try reducing the duration to .5 seconds.
Keep in mind that the slide layer objects (notecard full size) have an entrance animation duration of .5 seconds and an exit animation duration of .25 seconds. You'll need to reduce those times if you shorten the timeline.
Another way to easily speed things up:
1) delete the exit animation effect altogether. Delete the cue point and its associated trigger so the layer fades in and stops at the end of the timeline.
2) change the trigger on the close button. Currently it's set to "resume timeline" when clicked. Change it to "Hide Layer" when clicked. That will make the closing effect instantaneous.
Good morning. I love this. I'm having trouble changing the text and I'd also like to change the color of the post-it. I tried clicking on the object and then States but I still can't find a way to do either of these. Thank you in advance.
