Thanks Dan! No tricks, I've simply set the first frame (outside the left side), copied it and pasted it, then moved it to the right by pressing the right arrow key.
When I've pasted the very last frame, I counted the number of images and voilà: I found the number of slider' states needed.
(they are not so precise indeed :P )
I've tried to do the interraction with slider. However it doesn't work out very well. I'm trying to do one step with one layer, but how to make each layer crop the same size or are there any other way to make the "after" picture show a little bit by a little bit? If you have time, please reply me. Thank you very much.
Hi Tracy!
You can try using the image states, instead of layer.
Take the image and create, such instance, three different states called 1,2 and 3.
In every state you move the image a little bit to the right.
Then create a slider with three different steps.
At this point simply create a trigger with this logic: "if slider is in the first position, show image state 1, if slider is in the second position, show image state 2" and so on.
Sounds better?
I love this idea. I am thinking about doing something similar but with a type of 'overlay' on the second image. Love the way you used the microsteps in the slider action to pull the second picture over... thanks for a creative idea, that has sparked my creativity
Mario, I would love to see this in action. When I click on the interaction hyperlink a story.html file opens but it is a blank webpage. Can you tell me how I can see your example in action? Thank you in advance.
