As a course creator, your job is to help learners understand the information they need to succeed. Quizzes let you test how well they understand the material and point out any areas that need improvement. And, like the best e-learning, effective assessments are engaging and actionable.

That may sound like a tall order, but creating helpful quizzes doesn’t have to be a solo effort. The E-Learning Heroes community is full of downloads that can help you build your next assessment. Here’s a quick sample of what’s out there:

  1. Help learners master new vocabulary with this drag-and-drop quiz by Melanie Sobie.
  2. Drive learners forward with the handy progress bar in Montse Anderson’s download.
  3. See how well your learners can solve complex puzzles with this download by Owen Holt.

You can find loads more assessment templates and other e-learning freebies in our Downloads hub, so take a look! Be sure to also follow us on Twitter and come back to E-Learning Heroes regularly for more downloads and helpful advice on everything related to e-learning. If you have any questions, please share them in the comments.
