Storyline 360
Media Library |
Manage all the assets for your project in one spot with Media Library. Now you can easily add, remove, replace, reuse, and export images, characters, audio clips, and videos. Quickly find where assets are being used in your project too. You can also edit assets with third-party apps and save changes directly to Storyline 360. |
Media Library: Rename Assets |
Rename assets in the media library so you can easily find them. Keep assets organized and search for the ones you need. When you rename an asset it updates throughout your entire project. |
Media Library: Alt Text, Closed Captions, and Notes |
Add notes to assets and include closed captions and alt text on all your videos and images right in the media library. |
Slide Numbers |
Now you can easily add slide numbers to your course to help learners track their progress. You can even exclude slides that you don’t need to count. |
Feedback Master Theme Previews |
Use theme previews to see how your feedback layouts look when applied to different design themes in your course. |
Project Recovery |
Recover your project fast if your file becomes corrupt. Storyline 360 lets you know if there’s a working version in your temp files. |
Glossary Import and Export |
Import terms and definitions from a CSV file to create glossaries. Export them to a CSV file so you can reuse them in other projects. Edit glossaries without opening a separate window—just click a term or definition and start typing. |
One-Click Slide Insert |
Add slides to your course with a single click. Use the New Slide button or the Ctrl+M shortcut to quickly add a new slide with the same layout as the current slide. |
Insert Pictures as States |
Create a series of states for an image by importing multiple pictures at once. Learn more about it here. |
HTML5 Player Preview |
Storyline 360 is officially Flash-free. See an HTML5 preview in the player properties window. You can still publish Flash output, but the Flash Player isn’t required to use Storyline 360. |
New Triggers Panel and Workflow |
Use the trigger wizard to prefill fields with commonly used choices and to add conditions without opening a new window. The wizard supports keyboard navigation too. Use the trigger panel to try out different triggers and to edit and duplicate triggers inline. Group triggers by event and disable individual triggers to troubleshoot interactions. |
Uncompressed Audio |
Preserve the original quality of your MP3 files by turning off compression in Storyline 360. Uncompressed files retain their stereo format in your published output. |
Higher Audio Sample Rate |
Audio now publishes at a higher sample rate of 44,100 Hz so your projects sound better than ever. |
Rise 360
Chart Block |
Easily add data visualizations, including bar, line, and pie charts, to your Rise 360 projects. |
Scenario Block |
Create branched interactions and role-playing scenarios with Content Library 360 characters. Just add dialogue, responses, and feedback. |
Table Block |
Use tables to organize data clearly and present structured information. |
Quick Insert |
Add tables and lists on the fly to quiz lessons and blocks that support text, such as paragraphs and interactions. |
Uncompressed Images |
Add _NOPROCESS_ to image filenames when you want to use uncompressed images in your Rise 360 projects. |
Video Playback Speed |
Let learners choose a video playback speed that’s comfortable for them—from 0.5x up to 2x. |
