Hoping for publish to HTML5 only option. iPad compatibility. I prefer Storyline 2's ease of use to Captivate 9 but Captivate 9 is, for now, more powerful than Storyline. Bring on the improvements.
There is a buzz going on here now... we have party balloons, poppers, champagne, chocolates, custard creams and all manner of goodies and games... even a celebratory egg n spoon race... seems we are the only ones ?? :)
If not full HTML5 instead of HTML5 wrapped in Flash, then they've lost, and will lose, many customers. None of our government servers allow Flash content anymore, making several of the modules I've spent months working on, redundant....
This may be happening at a really good time for me - we are being force moved into a Google environment and hopefully "new" will help the transition! Thanks!
Sounds great!! I'm still kinda new to eLearning. What if the difference between Developers, Authors and Creators?? I feel like I do it all at the little company I work for ;)

Welcome to eLearning! I can relate to being the "do it all" person for a little company - but I've learned a lot from this great community over the years.
The industry terms are pretty standard for some of the eLearning roles. You've got your "SME" (Subject Matter Expert) - person who knows the subject inside and out, and will provide content, assessments, etc. Then you have your "Instructional Designer" who will design the eLearning course in a way that works best for this environment and for the learners who will be using it. They do basically the storyboard for the course. Next it's off to the "Instructional Developer" who actually puts the whole thing together.
That's pretty much the gist of it. There's lots of great blogs in the Articulate community sit... Expand
