Thats true Steve. Its difficult to manage jumping from PPT development platform to a Standalone free form tool all of a sudden and vice versa. I faced this issue when I switched from Captivate 7 to PowerPoint Tools. Working on a timeline and working on a Sync Manager are two really different things. But now its perfect as I have got used to it. The majority of learning audience has gone mobile. So the requirement of a Universal adaptive player is inevitable. Articulate being a leader in authoring tools has surely disappointed till date at least in this area. All the courses which I developed in Storyline 1 & 2 suffered with a huge reduction in learning reception as their published outputs didn't do well in mobile browsers since they came up with same player that works on a PC. ...i certainly hope for a Mac version too. Im a graphic designer and been working with Macs for 25yrs now. Ive emailed Articulate staff quite a few times and explaining that our IT group has stopped upgrading our Parallels and at one point our MacOS will not support older versions of Parallels and we will be in deep waters. And purchasing PCs and new Adobe suite for all of us here is not an option. Articulate definitely heard us and many other people like us. They dont want to lose us so im sure they came up with something for all. Although they were very tight lipped, i kinda got a very good impression that they would not be rolling out a Mac version but "something else" (more like a cloud version, thats my thought).
