Using E-Learning Characters to Engage and Connect with Learners #247

Using Characters in E-Learning #247: Challenge | Recap

E-Learning characters are a great way to personalize your courses and connect more fully with learners. Whether you’re using illustrated, photographic, or a combination of styles, it’s never been easier to engage learners with characters in e-learning courses.

For Storyline 360 users, you can add greater interactivity and personalization  with triggers, layers, and variables to conditionally change the poses and expressions of characters. Learning to use the built-in characters as well as creative ways to get more use out of the characters is what this week’s e-learning challenge is all about!

Challenge of the Week

This week, your challenge is to show how illustrated or photographic characters can be used to engage learners in e-learning.

I did a demo several challenges back and I did a whole "cast" using this style character. You can see them here: The static characters come from a stock art contributor named kkn2118--here's a link: Audio is called "Happy Camper" and that came from storyblocks/'s one of my "go-to" audio files when I want something whimsical.
