    I made a few updates to the template that should make editing easier. Please let me know if you have any questions modifying the files.

    I cannot see where to change the color of the background on the base layer. It's grey and I need another color. I've tried the states but that's not it. I'm really new at this so there must be missing something somewhere

      Hi Pamela - To change the dark gray background, you'll need to edit the slide master layout.

      Go to the View tab on the ribbon > Slide Master and select the top most slide in the layout. There you'll find the gray rectangle I used for the slide background.
