Hey Alex, I was just reading an article that says Zika is caused by the spray the infected countries are using to kill mosquitos so those poor creatures are scapegoats.
Why don't they stop using the spray then?
- I think researchers are just starting to make a connection between the Pyriproxyfen used in the spray and the birth defects that people have been attributing to Zika. So nothing has been proven. The mosquitos could be carrying Zika but Zika it may not be the cause of the birth defects.
