I wanted to try out a full screen background. I don't think this reads quite well yet visually but technically I think it works. It makes Storyline feel a little less contained and if the background is big enough, it works pretty well with different resolutions.
In the story.html file I set background="FILENAME" in the Body and strWMode = transparent. I had to right click on the slide itself and choose Format Background and set transparency to 100%. Then I have a full screen background with the Storyline content transparent back to it.

- AlexanderSalas9 years agoCommunity MemberThat's a great work around David. What's the resolution of the bkg image?
- DavidCharney19 years agoCommunity MemberHi Alexander. Good question. I am not sure. 1920 width I believe. If you fade the right and bottom edges with the background being the same color, it will nicely blend for any resolution.
- LynLucovsky9 years agoCommunity MemberVery cool David. I like the full screen background a lot and I think it works visually and technically. Nice!

- ZsoltOlah9 years agoSuper HeroReally cool! I like it. I tried to see if you did the same for the html5 output but I couldn't find it.
- DavidCharney19 years agoCommunity MemberHey Zsolt - I had not done the HTML5 output yet but it will likely be very similar without strwmode. I'll try and get HTML5 done soon.
