Well, it may be an open door, but I use the ELH Challenges overview page as a cheat sheet, even when I don't participate I look over the challenge entries and make a mental note of what I'm seeing. When I want to create something like 'x' I remember I've seen in one of the challenges and go find it:

I also tend to create How-to YouTube videos of stuff I want to remember and upload it to my YouTube channel:

For that same reason I blog about those things at my site:

This way I teach myself by explaining it to others and creating two performance support tools for myself at the same time :)
