Hi,
sometime ago I developed a prototype of serious game for a well known NGO. The purpose was for financial workers to improve decision making in several projects.
The dialog shows in different ways: cartoons, a tutor character supporting the main character and asking questions, phone calls between characters (audio), etc.

This is a really robust interaction and a great example of using a variety of speaking interactions. Plus it's pretty fun. There is a lot of little details that makes this feel more than just a training module. Very nice!
