This is sweet, Jodi. As a Brit I don't get tipping on everyday transactions - and don't get me started on sales tax not being displayed on the ticket.
I can see why you'd like the number variable to display to two decimal places here. Bit behind with my blog, but it will describe a method for that. (See my comments further down the board.)
