Thanks to all who contributed this week. I loved seeing how you all handle the challenge in different ways. I created my demo in Rise. I mostly utilize Rise's in-built image zoom abilities - but in, what I hope is, a creative way! https://rise.articulate.com/share/H1rlpeyYubc8aNyOFoXcPef5oWtp0VMV
- DanielJovanov-a5 years agoCommunity MemberHi, Tim! It took me a while to get to the point in your Rise course where you tackled the challenge (in the 'Better Know This' lesson), and I found your implementation to be spectacular! It was easy enough to use and pleasant to look at.
Admittedly, it was a little confusing at first to get to that part because you seemed to have used a certain default template and not changed much of the text, which is why I wondered for a while if you did anything at all! But once I did get to that lesson, it looked pretty cool!
Also, kudos for recommending Resolve as a video editor! I use it myself- TimMurphy-1f0af5 years agoCommunity MemberDaniel, I must thank you so much for sticking with it and locating the "Better know this" section!
I did try to include other areas where a learner could magnify images to display parts of the UI. ("Join the matrix" has steps with zoom-up graphics and in "Elemental" you can click each image to display more data.)
But, as they say in politics, "if I need to explain - I am losing!"
In retrospect I would put the "Better know this" section first in the lesson sequence, since it is larger, full-width and has a more obvious ‘click-it-to-see’ rationale.
Again, I really appreciate the time you took to use the course and to give your comments. Feedback is so valuable to us as developers.
