Breaking Language Barriers: How the Reach 360 Learner Interface Now Supports Multiple Languages

👋🏽 Hello, E-Learning Heroes community members!

It’s Christine Yoon, Senior Product Manager at Articulate. My team’s mission is to ensure seamless distribution of course content faster than ever, and I’m excited to share a new update we’ve just released in Reach 360. Starting this month, your learners can use Reach in English, Spanish, French, and German, plus we have even more languages in the works!

What is Reach 360?

With information changing faster than ever before, we’d heard from course creators and training managers that a quicker and simpler course distribution workflow was needed. So last year, we launched Reach 360, which is our frictionless LMS that is part of the Articulate 360 platform. With this seamless integration, you can take the magic that you’ve created using Rise 360, Storyline 360, and even third-party courses and distribute that to your learners with just a few clicks. We think Reach 360 is perfect for distributing fast-moving, fast-changing content such as operational updates, product training, and overall change management.

Making Learning Accessible to a Global Workforce

We quickly found out that along with faster distribution, you needed a way to give your learners a more inclusive and accessible learning experience. By translating the Reach 360 interface, we're taking the first step toward that by enabling learners to learn in whichever language they prefer, including English, Spanish, French, and German. (Be on the lookout for more languages soon!)

How Does it Work?

We really wanted to empower your learners to decide which language they prefer to experience Reach in while not adding additional translation work to your plate. So, we designed and built a flow that puts more control in their hands:

  • Learner Registration: When you add learners and groups to Reach 360, your learners can pick their preferred language on their Registration page.

  • Update Profile: Anyone can update their preferred language from their profile page at any time after initial registration.

Setting this preference updates the entire interface, including course enrollment notifications, due date reminders, learner dashboard, and library—providing a consistent experience in their language.

Consistency is Key

These updates allow for a consistent learning experience for all learners, no matter their language preference. With the new interface available in more languages, your learners can navigate their dashboards and libraries seamlessly, feeling comfortable jumping right into learning. It also helps reduce any back-and-forth that you might have with your learners.

By making Reach much more accessible to non-English learners, we look forward to seeing how you and your teams achieve better learner engagement and outcomes.

What’s Next?

We’d love to hear how you plan to use this new feature, what impact you think it will have on your projects, and what other languages you think we should add. Comment on this thread to let us know your thoughts.

And if you’re not already using Reach 360, I encourage you to give it a try! The Reach 360 starter plan is included in every Teams subscription, and here’s how to activate it.

Version 2.0
  • I just started using Reach, and it’s easily one of the most intuitive LMS platforms I’ve ever worked with.

  • Is there a way to only show courses on reach360 in specific language based on the users selected preferred language?
For example if the user selected Spanish on their preferred language, they will only see courses that is labeled as “Spanish” when distributing courses from Rise360
