Hi everyone, here is the link

Three changes I made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement were:
1) Added a hook with storytelling. I did this to draw people in and also to demonstrate what good looks like and what "not so good" looks like.
2) At the end of the course, I came back to the characters in the "hook" to continue the story and I used audio to "bring the characters to life" for increased engagement and I felt it really provided a genuine human experience, since the topic at hand is really about our humanity and what we crave in order to love our work.
3) I changed a lot of the straight text into activities to provide more engagement, and I also combined one of the elements of the draft together as one section instead of two, providing an audio experience. I found the two sections were very similar and so I combined them.
The AI feature or capability that was most valuable is hard to select, I think there were many things that were helpful, so will list my key ones: A) Starting from multiple "source of truth" docs/ppt etc. and being able to ask AI to create a draft from them B) the AI images, saved what would have been hours trying to locate suitable images C) the quiz making and ability to ask AI to provide feedback in each quiz answer, which again saves SO much time! D) the text to audio, having AI help to expand the text and then create audio clips at the click of button, is AMAZING!
The challenges I faced when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted were mainly during image creation. I found that I would have to do multiple requests to get just the right ones, but of course, the fact that we can save them and use again is phenomenal. (Oops there's another valuable feature! 😄)
I didn't save them during this exercise because I was playing with the imagery, but once we land on a look and feel for our courses, this will be such an advantage! Another challenge was learning custom blocks, it took me a bit to understand what I was doing, but with some helpful guidance from Chat GPT I was able to create a couple of custom blocks using audio! - ClaudiaNadol891Community Member

Share 3 changes you made:
To boost learner engagement, I made three specific changes to the course:
- Streamlined the structure: I reorganized the content to create a more logical flow that is easier for learners to follow.
- Added a reflection block: I inserted a dedicated code block to give learners a moment to pause and write down their own thoughts on the topic.
- Integrated quick quizzes: I placed short quizzes throughout the course to break up the text and give learners a hands-on way to interact with the content.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable:
The AI text-to-speech voices were super valuable. I was really impressed by how natural they sound, and updating the audio whenever I changed the text was completely seamless. I also loved the "Instant Convert" feature, which let me quickly swap interaction types without wasting time.
What challenges:
My biggest challenge was image generation. It took a lot of trial and error to get the AI to produce visuals that matched the specific color palette and aesthetic style I wanted for the course. My main takeaway from this experience is just how good your prompt is. Once you figure out the right keywords and structure for your prompt, the quality of the output improves.

I like the AI Audio, AI knowledge checks, and the AI Images. These all save me huge amounts of time. These are 3 changes I made to the course.
I really don't have challenges with the AI features. Love it! - ShawnMcCreig064Community Member

- Share 3 changes you made I made more than 3. I used the AI assistant to add a summary at the end before the quiz. Additional AI changes came was asking it to add grab lines as introductions in a few spots and graphics.
- Which AI feature or capability was most valuable Writing in general, grab lines and creating images
- What challenges I did not have any issues with AI, I had to in some blocks as titles were too long (flash cards)

I made multiple changes to my course, including editing the theme, fonts, creating AI-generated images, changing tone, and using the Instant Convert (which I love!).
I had difficulty changing the font size in my flip cards, but I then just adjusted the size of my flip cards and worked around the issue.
I'm really glad I completed this certification - thanks Articulate!

Hey Folks! For this project, I wanted to challenge myself on how I could use the AI Assistant to create a cohesive design for this learning experience. With that in mind, I focused on three areas: Images, Custom Blocks, and Conversions.
Course link: Leading Positive Teams
https://share.articulate.com/J2SV0bM0GuL3RpyZVPZB2
Custom Image Style: I added a requirement to include the theme colors in personal attire. By establishing this one area of cohesiveness for image generation, I was able to create a consistent look and feel among all images used in the course.
- Challenges: Sometimes the AI would get carried away and generate images that pulled the focus from the main idea. So I did spend more time adjusting prompts than I would have liked.
- Observations: It was interesting to see how the AI would interpret my image style. I noticed that female-presenting characters were always assigned purple tops and the male-presenting characters were given blue tops. In the future, I think I would add some considerations to avoid gender-based decisions.
Custom Block with Audio: I wanted a unique discovery-based interaction that included audio. Generated images and unique voices helped solidify the experience with relatable characters to spark curiosity.
- Challenges: The custom blocks could not be edited directly like the other blocks, you always had to enter the editor for that. Since it pulled you out of the Rise experience, I copied the course content into a word doc to use as a reference for the custom block.
- Observations: I did spy a little Coming Soon for Interactivity, which I think would be fun to play around with once it's available.
Converting and Editing with AI: Some of the initial blocks felt too simple for a Manager training, but it was easy to convert them into more challenging activities with a few clicks and prompts.
- Challenges: I was not able to return to a previous version if I didn't like how it refined the content after adding additional prompts.
- Observations: Using the Instant Convert then following up with the Edit with AI - was and effective combination for content conversion. I found myself using this technique the most.

I played with creating a Super Mario Brothers theme for this. I would have loved to have the music going but that doesn't work in Rise so I just added links.
I changed some things from being paragraphs of info into interactions. I also played with the quiz at the end to make it more like scenario application questions, which was a little tricky.
I changed all the pictures to have a Mario Brothers look, which I accomplished by custom image type and said "In the style of Mario Brothers". It surprised me how accurate these images were. I don't know that this look would work for all settings, but thought younger new managers in retail might enjoy it.

I have to do a web export as quick sharing is disabled at my company.
I enjoyed the challenge of the activity.
1. Share 3 changes you made (to lesson 1) - I changed some of the images using custom prompting asking it to emulate modern action RPG style graphics and found it did very well. I used AI to generate a custom text block and accompanying AI voice over. I also used AI to edit and convert a few of the text blocks to activities to make the content more interactive and digestible.
2. Which AI feature or capability was most valuable in your workflow and why? - I think the AI audio is invaluable to me. Clients often request voiceover and doing that with a person can take a lot of time. The AI generator makes it much simpler to fulfil their requests.
3. What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? - I found the AI image generation went off the rails pretty quickly, which is unfortunately common as AI image generation goes. Starting over and making your prompts more robust helps. - KathrynKennedyCommunity Member
Hi colleagues!
Here is my course: https://share.articulate.com/Ce-xGcyzg-vfCmbSBFLcv
Share 3 changes you made:
- Shortened content - we value "short and sweet"
- Decreased interactive content - Too much can be annoying
- Used images that were both AI prompt generated and stock images. Sometimes the stock is enough of a representation without having to be an image of the text.
- Which AI feature or capability was most valuable: The overall course summary and quiz were great. At first, I used AI prompts to create summary. When I used the one-click approach, the summary improved alot.
- What challenges: Sometimes the shortened version would not 'insert below' nor 'replace'. Sometimes I had to click the option several times. It is a challenge for me not to have an 'undo' button. I am so impressed by the design that others have created, I need to spend more time playing around with colors, image selection and format. (Rise is a newer format for me as well).

Hi everyone! I came into this thinking I had pretty solid knowledge of the AI tools - wow, did I learn a lot! The tips and tricks...I can do so much more than what I had been doing.
Here's my course. I updated Lesson 1:
https://share.articulate.com/xFBFLA21ColFnXuRNN_9G
3 Changes I made:
- Modified the intro paragraph to include a hook
- Created several AI images - including a "pillar" image for the flip cards. I found one I liked, downloaded the IA generated, then used image editing to add text for each of the cards so they all look consistent
- Instant convert an accordion block to a knowledge check.
I think my biggest takeaway is expanding use of the AI tools within the blocks. I had typically used it to generate the initial course and lessons, convert content to interactive blocks, knowledge checks, etc. I had never though of create AI images for flip cards, replacing a paragraph with AI audio, shaping a portion of a paragraph into a bullet list, etc. SO much more I can do quicker with AI.
Great experience. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
Cheers!
