adding annotation in Engage part way into audio

Jun 15, 2011

I haven't used annotations as of yet, but I want to add arrow pointing to the attachments link in the upper right part of the screen.

It needs to come in a little ways into the audio when it is talked about. Is it possible to delay it like this or am I stuck having it come in right at the beginning of the slide.

Thanks.

Hi there Rebecca,

Are you wanting an annotation to appear on an Engage slide? Currently, Engage doesn't support annotations - only Presenter does. So if you wanted to use an annotation to point out the Attachments tab in your course, you'd need to do that on a regular content slide that you built with PowerPoint & Presenter (not one that contains an Engage interaction).

The good news is, you don't have to make the annotation appear right at the beginning of the slide. You can insert it at any point during the slide's narration... here's a tutorial that shows how: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/adding-annotations-when-your-audio-s-already-in-place.aspx
