Adding new marker styles

Jun 03, 2015

I am working in Engage '13.

I'm working on a "Labeled Graphic" image. (It's a layout of a building.) I'm trying to teach learners how the room numbering and fire zone codes are related. (sounds simple).

Originally, I used marker#s (1-7). However, the way the fire zones are set up they are made up of the (floor + zone).

There are 7 zones on the first floor. (1000, 1100, 1200 ... 1600)

So, I set up markers using #s 1-7. It works out great when you open #1. It equals 1000. But, when you start clicking on 2 = 1100, 3 =1200. It gets confusing.

What I would like to do is change the numbers to 10, 11, 12, 13 ...16. Sounds good.

However, when I get to level 2 of the building layout the zones are 2100, 2200, 2300, 2400.

The problem is the standard markers only go up to 20.

Question: Is there a way to change add additional markers (21, 22 ...) to the set of markers?

The backup plan is to just use generic pins or flags or something else.

I was originally using the numbered markers to make it easy to know where to click next in the sequence since you have to make sure you click on all the markers to continue.

Does anyone know how to change the marker image and get it into the set the of markers already in Engage?

Thanks,
