Advanced labeled graphic

Hello,
I'd like to take a map of the state of California and when the user mouses over different parts of the state (determined by me), that part of the state has a 'hover' (similar to the glow that surrounds a radio button on Quizmaker) and information comes up. Also, hopefully if they click on that area, it will hyperlink to another slide. It's a bit similar to the Engage 'Labeled Graphic' interaction, except without the labels.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Robert,
Engage doesn't currently support hidden labels or actions upon rollover. However, if you'd like to see that added to a future release, please submit a feature request to us by using the link below:

Hello Brian,
Actually, what I'd like is similar to what e-Mersion did in their 2010 Guru gold medal winning presentation about diabetes (http://elearning-examples.s3.amazonaws.com/Diabesity/player.html). The slide is 5/22, where you can choose between learning about diabetes, a diabetes self-assessment and taking action. When you scroll over a choice, the other two choices become faded. I'd like some help as to how this is possible.
Thanks,
Robert
I was looking for the same thing! Is it possible to do that in Articulate/PPT or was that part of their course designed with Flash?
You can create the rollover buttons in Flash and insert them into Powerpoint. To get the buttons to navigate to slides, you'll need to add the code to the buttons in Flash. It's a simple .fla with code that tells Presenter to jump to a specific slide.
Here's a screencast overview on the process:

If you have Flash, you could do something like this:

And if you'd like the source files:
I would repurpose david andersons buttons to do this, actually that is what I did for a recent project
