I'm very interested in this product but I'm wondering if it writes in Arabic. Currently Arabic letters seems disconnected. It works fine in Quiz but not in engage.
Right to left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi are not currently supported in Articulate software. If this is something you would like to see in future versions of our software, you can submit a feature request here:
Is there a work around? I like Articulate a lot, but without Hebrew support / useful workaround, there is no way we will buy it.
BTW there are 300 Arab-muslims and 7 Million Israelis who write right to left, I think it would have been a great market for your product. Even Viewlet Builder support (to a certain extent) Hebrew...
For Engage, I'd use PPT to create the content. Then publish and pull out the slide.swf from the data file. This lets you leverage the ppt authoring and use the Engage framework. From a production perspective, it's only a few extra minutes.
I will look into it, as this is the main obsticle to buying Articulate right now.
How come Articulate hasn't addressed this issue so far? with 300 million Arabic speakers and 7 millions Jews speaking Hebrew, you can have a large market that will happily use your tool

I am also interested in the workaround. We need to translate a course into Arabic.
The following tip doesn't work for Engage, but here's a way to workaround this limitation using PowerPoint 2010.

Tom,
Thank you. I will keep that in mind when working with PowerPoint slides.

Ayman,
Were you able to find a workaround for your Arabic Articulate courses? I appreciate any help.

I'll try that out. Thanks!
