Articulate 09 Engage

Nov 09, 2012

I just upgraded my Microsoft Office to 2010 and am having a lot of issues with editing, saving, and exiting out of Engage.  I can pull up a project in Engage, Edit it, Save it, but when it comes to closing it out or updating the project directly into my Power Point, it's idle.  There isn't any activity when it should be closing out.

To bypass this, I have to delete the old Engage slide in my Powerpoint, do a Task Manager hard stop or forced End on Engage, go back into my Powerpoint, then reinsert the updated saved Engage piece.

Has anyone experienced this issue with their projects?  Please help.  Too tedious to work with Articulate now.  Any suggestions to troubleshoot much appreciated.

I have no problem inserting it in once I've saved and updated it.  My issue is that when I create or work with an existing Engage slide, I can save it.  However, once I'm done and want to close the Engage editing screen, it won't allow me to do so.  That's when I have to do a forced quit on the program itself through Task Manager.  Going back into my power point and inserting the Engage piece is fine.

Hey Noel,

Are you working from your local drive or a network drive? Working from a network drive could cause some unexpected behavior. It also may be helpful to review this article which offers some common reasons and solutions for uncommon behavior. Have a look, and if things are still behaving strangely, we'd be happy to have you open a support case for additional help. Thanks!
