Hi,
I need information on the maximum number of characters that are supported in interaction titles. My interaction titles are long and are truncated when I load them in Engage interactions like FAQs, Labelled Graphic, etc.
Also, I found on one site that 9986 characters are possible in a Labelled graphic interaction title. My interaction title is less than 100 character limit and still gets truncated. Please help me understand "character" here. Does it not reflect the "letters of alphabet"?
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Lahar

Hi Lahar!
It looks like your title would need to be about 64 characters or less to avoid being truncated if that's what you wish.
I think what you found was that each label could have 9986 characters as shown here.
Hi Leslie,
I am facing another issue right now. I am using Articulate Engage 13 and need to develop course in Arabic. I have installed the Articulate Update 2. I have selected "Text is read from right-to-left" option in Player and am also able to have the text in content area in "Right-to-Left" format by selecting "Right-to left " text direction button. However, tab interaction title is still appearing in "Left-to-right" format and Format Text options are disabled for interaction titles. Please suggest.
Thanks,
Lahar
Hi Lahar!
Any changes that you wish to make, format-wise, to the title has to be done related to your theme and Interaction Properties.
Hi Leslie,
Thank you for the information; however I need to display my Interaction Title in "right-to-left" format as I am building my course in Arabic language. This option is not available in Interaction Properties.
Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Lahar
I apologize Lahar!
Looks like the second part of my response is missing-in-action.
You are correct, this option is not available. I shared the above link so that you were aware that you could choose to not display the Interaction Title as a workaround.
