Great feature in 09 which lets us record straight into the interaction.
Using this method, or even importing audio files, means the audio plays when a slide/interaction is opened. Is there a way of fixing a play button so the learner has control over when the audio will start?
Out of the box, you won't be able to let the learner decide when the audio plays. However, here's a third party tool that may give you the ability that you're looking for:
Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking for something like this. The problem is I purchased it, but dont know how to get it to work. The directions provided are vague and not helpful to someone who has never edited a xml file. Have you worked with this? Could you share how to get this to work if you have?
Thanks...I actually contacted you both and he responded with really good instructions. Brian Houle is the developer and he sent me video instructions on how to use the widget. I gave it a try and it works like a charm. His instructions include an example of how it will work with Presenter. For anyone interested, don't worry if you have never edited .xml files before, his explanation is very detailed. He also has another widget that does audio and text with mouse rollover.

Hi Marci,
I've never used it. However, I'd recommend contacting the developer of it here:
