Both uninstall and install giving errors

Mar 18, 2011

Hi,

I was trying to publish a file that i was working on and when I clicked on the Publish button, it would click and think but the Publish dialogue box would not pop up. So I went to uninstall Articulate but during the process I would get errors such as deactivator.exe, articluate, exe, articlate flv has stopped working. What is this happening? I then rebooted and then redownloaded the Articulate demo to see if I can install the program but I get the same errors and I did when I was uninstalling. I am running the installation file as an Admin in Windows 7 if that helps....

I just tried to install Articulate again but this time I disabled my antivius and I am still getting the same error. I've attached a screenshot. After it shows me that error it says 'Articulate 09 has stopped working' and then the InstallShield Wizard says that it has completed the installation. And then when I click on the shortcut it says 'Articulate .... has stopped working".

I have a simular problem.

I am trying to install Articulate Pro Update 5 on a new Dell Optiplex 7010 with Windows 7. About half way through, I get the error, "InstallLicence.exe has stopped working" Check for a solution online or Close the program. Nothing happens with a check for solution and if you close it continues to install but are prompted 3 or 4 more times. he install will finish but when you try to open a program, I get the message, "Articulate Presenter '09 has stopped working. I have tried installing from our network, from DVD. I have tried installing with antivirus turned off, as administrator, as regular user with the same error each time. I have also tried the http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=2293 .  Any suggestions?
