Hi there, we have developed lessons using the Articulate Studio'13 suite. After publishing and uploading to our LMS, it seems that there are certain slides that do not display content. When I navigate to the next slides and back again, other content is also no longer showing. Then, if I continue navigating back and forth, these slide occasionally display text.
Our preferred browser is Chrome. I downloaded the latest flash player as a last resort, but still experience the same issue with these lessons. I also tested using IE and there seems to be no issues in this browser.
Has anyone else experienced the same with Studio? Is there a resolve for this issue?
No this is not a standalone Engage interaction. It is embedded in a larger presenter presentation.
The slides are only blank in Chrome. IE works perfectly and Edge, well I'm unable to test in Edge as the alignment (to click or select) of buttons are completely off. Even if I publish the lesson and test it in Chrome (before uploading to the LMS) I get the same issue (and again, IE displays the content perfectly).
Thanks for your suggestion to test in SCORM Cloud. In Chrome I get the same issue, but in IE it displays correct.
There are multiple courses developed and embedded into the larger presenter presentation, however only a few present this specific issue.
For the few interactions that are showing this issue :
are they are a particular type?
Do you know if they were created and added with an earlier update of Studio '13?
Do they have a lot of media elements added, or more text on an interaction?
So it sounds like Chrome is the one area where it consistently doesn't work and you checked that you had flash installed. Was that installed and active in Chrome or on your computer? Chrome has started to block Flash by default, so it's possible you're still hitting that snag.
If you want to share a link to your course or even a Presenter package with a few of those interactions that would help us test!
These interactions are added as 'Click-to-reveal interactions' within Markers.
I am not sure but it is possible that an older version of Studio was used.
No, not a lot of media elements. Text was added to the markers.
The latest version of flash was installed and activated on my PC and I suspect the issue here is chrome. Because Chrome blocks Flash, one has to enable flash for the specific site! I found instructions here. I am still testing this but am almost certain that this was the issue all along.
