I am trying to publish for a client review and I ca no longer get the text that is in the Engage Narration to publish into the published Presenter file. It works for a handful of interactions, but for new interactions, it no longer works.
Please someone help!
I have tried everything I can think of:
Clearing my cache
Deleting temp files
Starting with a new ppt and adding screens and files back in (which caused loss of audio--happily I backed up first)
At this point, I'm copying into the notes section of PPT, which is a huge pain in the ... well you get the picture. This worked yesterday, but not today.
It's not actually possible to publish the Narration Script. The only format that will publish the Narration Script is if you publish the interaction for Word. If you wanted that narration in the Presenter presentation, you would have to do something like put it in the slide notes of the PowerPoint presentation.
Ah. Although I am sure that we had narration so that concerns me that it has now disappeared. But I guess nothing surprises me much at this point. This has been an incredibly frustrating Articulate week.
Justin - I've seen a few posts on this and it seems like a great addition to Articulate, or perhaps the new product that is coming out?? (Still waiting to hear if we are on the beta! )
I've had it where I write up my scripting in Engage and then because I need it in the Notes section for Articulate to display it, I have to manually copy every slide over. When I discovered Engage last year, I have totally incorporated it into every course I've developed (over 30 in the past year). As I get better with it, and discover more cool features, I add more. It would be so valuable to be able to click a button in Engage (or have the option when you "Save and return to Presenter") where Engage automatically transfers the scripting to Presenter.
It's a suggestion that would speed up my development time, instead of spending time copying and pasting.
