Engage Community Templates

Having difficulty downloading and installing template in Engage Community Templates. Some templates download as and install file (They install no problem) however some download as a zip file and do not install once extracted. I also have difficulty with saving PowerPoint Templates as POTX files. I would like to have all templates for presenter, quizmaker, and engage in their proper place. Right now I am an organizational mess and know I have these templates save somewhere but where? Help or you will see me on an upcoming episode of of the new show "File Hoarders".

Hi Maureen,
If you download a community interaction, you may find that the file downloads with the extension .artpkg.zip. To install a community interaction the extension needs to be .artpkg. To update the .artpkg.zip file you simply need to remove the .zip from the file name.

Ok I have downloaded and installed the Carousel Engage template. I have read online and checked to ensure I don't have the zip file. So I have the correct file I just can't seem to open the template. Any ideas? I'm sure this is something simple and I just don't know where to look.

Hi! I downloaded the Engage template file(s) 'stairstep.zip' and need to know where to unzip these files into? The extension is not .artpkg rather .zip. Thanks for your help!

I'm assuming that you downloaded from the template here.
Are you utilizing Engage '09? This community interaction will not work in Engage '13.
