Hi Marlene!

When using the Engage FAQ interaction, you'll have to click on the question to reveal the answer text, as shown below.

Dear Alyssa,

thanks for the answer. I don't have an introduction bar just the question bars and I want the first answer under the first question bar to not be shown automatically (only when you click on it). For question no. 2, 3, ... this works - but not for the first question. Is there a special setting for this?

Hi Marlene,

I uploaded a quick sample here to Review and using the standard settings all the items are collapsed by default. 

I disabled the Introduction and set the Interaction Properties playback to Interactive. 

Are you using this as a standalone interaction or you've added it to a Storyline/Presenter course?

I was able to see the same behavior in my quick test using Engage and Presenter.

I'd advise using that Introduction field as instructions and leave the additional information blank:

Hi, Marlene. Thanks for hashing this out with us!

It seems like when the interaction is imported into Presenter, the first section automatically collapses. We'll get this behavior in front of our team so that we can verify this is a bug, and keep you posted on its progress.

But I have one more related question: If my question in the question field gets too long, it is cut off. Is there a setting to display it completely?

Oh no, Marlene! Sorry your text is getting cut off.

I did a quick test with 100 lines of text, and I didn't run into issues with the text getting cut off. How much text are you using?
