What I am trying to do is add an Engage Interaction into my standard PowerPoint presentation slide-deck that works effortlessly when conducting webinars using GoToWebinar. Is this even possible?

When you insert an Engage interaction in Presenter, you'll want to preview the presentation to display all of the PowerPoint slides and the Engage interaction to your webinar audience.
