I am creating a new interaction in powerpoint. Engage takes me through the steps and once I press "Save and return to Presenter" the interaction does not show up in the left panel of powerpoint. I can see that it has saved on my C drive. When I try to add the existing interaction, it comes up as "slide0" and a blank slide will appear in powerpoint.
I am not seeing that behavior from my end, and I'm attaching the Articulate Package that I created with your interaction. Are you seeing the same behavior?
Are you working locally? Perhaps you need to conduct a repair of your software.

Hi Anila and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
If you are adding a new Engage Interaction while you are in Presenter, you should not have to add it again.
Is there a chance that you added the interaction as a tab instead of a slide? If that happened, then it would not show in the left-hand menu.
I'm having the same problem as Anila. The interaction shows up as "slide0" with the blank slide. It also disappears when you reopen Engage.
I have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled Articulate Studio '13 version 3 with no change in behavior.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi Scott! Would you be able to share your .intr file?
Hi Leslie,
Here is an example file.
Thank you!

Hi Leslie,
I always work locally, learned a few lessons since Authorware 1.2
I will take a look at the test package and look at the repair tips above.
Thank you!
Sounds great Scott, just let us know.
The test package you sent appeared to work. But when I clicked on the interaction to edit, it does not open.
It treats the link as an image.
If I open Engage and import it, it creates a slide(0) which is a blank slide. When I close Engage, the interaction will
not be there when I open Engage again. :-(
I have done everything, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared the registry. I wlll be taking a vacation so I may not be on for a week.
Help!
Thanks for the updated information Scott and I sure hope you enjoy your vacation.
I am opening a support ticket on your behalf and will continue working with you there.
Before I go, I was just shutting my machine down and I received this error message.
Thanks for the help!
Thanks Scott! We will see what your log files tell us when you submit them in your case
Okay, back from vacation! To wrap up, I believe it was Malware that was causing this grief.
New hard drive later, works like it normally does
Thanks for the help!
Glad you got it all sorted Scott, thanks for the update and I hope you had a great vacation
