Engage Media Tour Audio

Mar 19, 2011

I have a short video that I encoded as an .flv in Articulate's Video Encoder, imported it into the Media Tour interaction and placed the interaction into Presenter. When I publish the course, I cannot hear the audio in the Media Tour slide. I republished the video file via the Encoder and imported it again into Presenter to see if something "flukey" may have gone wrong (I can hear the audio in the Encoder when I click on it's built-in play button). This is the first time I've used the Media Tour interaction, so there is a good chance I am just missing a simple step.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Michael and welcome to Heroes!

It sounds like you followed the correct steps with Media Tour. What format was the video file before you brought it into Video Encoder?

Can you try updating your Flash player and try publishing your interaction again: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash. This is our recommended solution for flv/mp4 movie issues within published interactions.
