Exit button/technique in Engage runtime

Sep 12, 2011

I think I know the answer to the following question, but I'll ask anyway.

"Is there an Exit button/technique in Engage runtime for a user to use to exit an Engage interaction?"

Normally I just instruct the user to continue on by using the next navigation button.

Hi, sorry that wasn't a very helpful question was it

I'm creating a course for a client and we aren't using the player.

I had planned to use Tom's tip for removing the top banner by outputting the file as a flash object and then placing it slightly off the top of the slide.

Does Engage have an option to automatically go to the next presenter slide when its finished?  How do people normally move from an embedded Engage file to the next slide if they aren't using the player skin?

Hi Gill!

Apologies for the delayed reply. I'm not familiar with the technique you mentioned, but if your interaction is embedded in a Presenter course, you can use the Properties button at the bottom of the Engage slide to allow users to leave the interaction "After viewing all the steps" That should allow the users to continue on with the course:
