I have published a Timeline activity in a presentation; however, the play button does not flash when the student reaches the end of the activity and can only advance using the "Next Slide" button at the top of the activity. In the same presentation, I have also published a Tabs activity where the play button does flash when the student reaches the end of the Tabs activity. Both Engage activities have the same properties selected. How can I change this to have the play/forward button flash at the end of the Timeline activity? Thanks!!
The play button 'flashes' to indicate that the timeline has ended and to move to the next slide. It sounds as if your learner is not finished with the interaction if they are utilizing the next button in the top of the screen, since this is the engage player.
Thanks for your reply. It is Engage '09. I have gone through every second of the Timeline activity until the very end and the play button still doesn't flash. Is there a setting that will allow the play button to always flash or to at least ensure that it will flash regardless if the entire activity is viewed?
Not sure if your interaction contains audio, which may be why you are running into this. Please check out this thread with a couple of different solutions.

Sounds as if you are using Engage '09.
