Flipbook
Apr 24, 2015
Ok, I have been trying to insert something like this http://www.ingun.de/media/epaper/catalog_rf_2012_13/index.html#124 into an Engage 13 interaction. Not at a web object, but inserted as a .swf file.
I am using this one as an example since it is easy to get to. I am building my own flipbook. When I have tried it on test interactions, I get a grey screen with the little thinking circle.
Any suggestions?
To answer the obvious, I am using the latest version of Studio '13, with Office 2010 (also latest update).

Hi Scott!
Previously there was a flipbook interaction available, but the community interactions were not incorporated into Engage '13.
Hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist you with your design request.
Yeah, that I know, I personally own Studio 09, and have Studio 13 at work. I liked the flipbook, but knew that it was not in 13 (huge bummer).
The flipbook I am going to be making myself using Adobe Flash or one of the programs that can make them, there are several out there. They are published in .swf format. I tried one out, and tried embedding the file into the Engage Interaction (actually, tried in all interactions and directly into the PPT slide), and it was not working.
Trying to understand why and figure out if it will work if I make the PDF's I have into flash flipbooks.
Hi Scott!
We have some information, not sure if you've seen this:
How to add interactive Flash (SWF) files to Articulate Engage '13 interactions.
Oh yeah. Before I post, I always try to find information in the discussions first. I figure most things have come up before. I just couldn't find anything on this particular issue.
Glad to hear that Scott. Well, if your file is meeting the requirements as shared here, you are welcome to share with us so that we can take a look.
I wanted to let you know I figured it out. Thank you very much
Thanks for the update Scott! If it's anything that may benefit someone in the community, please feel free to share :)
