Glossary not running on company intranet

Feb 20, 2019

Hi there - I recently published 1400 term glossary created in Studio on our company intranet.  It worked and ran on google chrome and now it has stopped working.  I'm by no means a tech person.  I tried republishing and replacing the link but still nothing.  any thoughts?

Hi Suzanne,

What version of Engage are you using? Do you know what version of Chrome you're using?

You can check Engage by opening the Help tab and looking for About Articulate Engage.  Within Chrome you'd find it in Settings>About Chrome.

Also, how are you publishing and sharing the content to your intranet site?

Finally - does the course not open at all or do you see an error message when launching it?

Hi Suzanne,

What version of Engage are you using? I'm using Engage from the Articulate 360 program. Do you know what version of Chrome you're using? Version 72.0.3626.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)

You can check Engage by opening the Help tab and looking for About Articulate Engage. Within Chrome you'd find it in Settings>About Chrome.

Also, how are you publishing and sharing the content to your intranet site? I use the method that gives you a sharable link and I put that in our edcast format to publish.

Finally - does the course not open at all or do you see an error message when launching it? course opens up in grey with a play bar, click on it and it never launches.

Hi Sue,

It looks like you may be replying to the forums via e-mail. This does two things:

  1. Does not allow your images to populate in the forums.
  2. Adds your signature to your reply.

Be sure to click 'View' vs. 'Reply' in your e-mail so that you can respond directly to the forums.

You can remove your signature if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.

You'll see options to include images in the top of the reply window and attachments in the bottom left if needed.
