How to embed a HTML/Javascript game

Sep 25, 2015

Hi,

I have a simple javascript game which I have downloaded from the internet.

I am able to run the index.html of the javascript program properly from the local browser.

I also managed to enable the 'insert live web' function in powerpoint 2013 by installing an additional add-in, edit the DWORD value in Registry to enable ActiveX, and play the HTML program within the slide on presentation mode.

So far so good, I can play the live web HTML from powerpoint presentation.

Now here's the problem - when I tried to preview or publish on Articulate, I am unable to view the live web part.

Can anyone help please?

Attached is the zip file containing the javascript program and the powerpoint slide.

Thanks!

Hi Elaine,

If you need to insert web based content into your Presenter project, you'll want to use the web object option detailed here.  As for testing it you won't be able to see it during preview, and when publishing you'll want to test in the intended environment as testing it locally could cause you to encounter the security restrictions detailed here.
