I deleted both Introduction and Summary in a New Engage Project to learn more about the way it Works. How to reinstall these again after deleted? Possible?
Hey there, Cato. If you still have the project open, and you accidentally delete something (or make some other change that you'd like to revert), you should be able to use the little "undo" arrow.
Is that helpful, or am I off the mark on the situation? :)
Hello- no - you are not completely off. But how to remake those if you have deleted them -saved and even most common I believe open later on the same project. Is it programmable for users or not? If so - how?
Hey Cato! Just a heads up that your contact info is included when you reply via email, so you can edit that out of your post if you'd like.
So, if you had saved your project before deleting the item, you may have a temporary version of that save located on your C: drive; following these steps to locate it:
1) Open this folder in Windows Explorer:
%appdata%\Articulate\Storyline
2) Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop.
3) Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.
4) Double-click the file to open it in Storyline.
Then, even if you've edited the project and then saved it again, you possibly could find that version before you did the delete.
If you didn't save the earlier version, you would not be able to go back to it once you save and close the "delete" version.
Cato- I apologize, I gave you the location for Storyline temporary files. Please amend that to read \Engage on the end. Again, it is possible that a version will be in there, but it may not be.

I understand. Thank you Crystal.
